Sardines are the way to go!
We have been eating sardines because they have been recommended for my son’s diet: he has been recovering from mono. But I realized just how easy and nutritious sardines can be.
The back of the pack I ate for lunch today showed that in one serving (74 grams) you get 80% of your vitamin D, 90% of your selenium, 25% of your calcium and 17 grams of protein which is like eating three eggs.
Have them with toast or a salad and you have a really easy and quick meal. For seniors who want to have something quick, easy and very good for you, this is a easy way to go! I eat them with toast or a salad.
Here is a good link for some further health information on Sardines.
