Holiday Festive Teas…4th December at our CNIB Community Resource Centre and 10th December at our “Shops on Steeles and 404” Centre
Mosaic Home Care Services hosted a Holiday Festive Tea event this month at both of its Community Resource Centres.
These events were a great opportunity to meet up, relax, enjoy the festive atmosphere and the company of others.
At our Toronto office’s Community Resource Centre, at the CNIB 4th December 2015
Mosaic and the Canadian Hearing Society provided a holiday venue of holiday festive treats and very interesting talk on hearing. We learnt about the of signs of hearing loss, what to expect when getting a hearing test and many other useful tips.
Free hearing screenings
For your information The Canadian Hearing Society in partnership with Mosaic Home Care Services & Community Resource Centre Toronto office (CNIB Centre) will be hosting free hearing screenings on Wednesday February 20th, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. if you are interested please book your appointment by calling 416-322-7002.
At our newly renovated “Shops on Steeles and 404” Community Resource Centre”, 10 December 2015
Kevin Lopes our marketing and media assistant organized the afternoon by setting up the resource centre with holiday decorations.
We have added a couple of pictures of this wonderful event so you can see for yourself. Ian from Snap’d North York attended and some pictures of our event will be added to the January 2016 publication.
Members of our “Client Services” team, Candy and Kathy helped serve tea and refreshments. It was nice touch for those present to meet some of the team that look after our members. Our Client Services team is the engine room at Mosaic: they oversee the delivery of care to our members, organize schedules for members, their families and caregivers, are the first point of contact for members of the public wanting to find out about our services, are instrumental in organizing care and supports for our new members, and the list goes on. “It was lovely having you join some of our events in the community!”
If you want to take advantage of our community centre events please stay tuned for our 2016 newsletter coming out in the 2nd week of January. We have some wonderful events which I’m sure you will find interesting!
Have a wonderful Holiday Season with your families!
