Online Course on Alzheimer’s starting mid October..
If you have read today’s daily links you will have noted a link to the “New Old Age” blog at the New York Times. Also from this blog is the post “Online Lessons in Dementia Management” which discussed a free online course on Alzheimer’s, starting in mid October and lasting for five weeks.
Excerpt from the post: “The course offered by Dr. Gitlin and her collaborator, Nancy Hodgson, an assistant professor at the School of Nursing at Johns Hopkins, is free to anyone who wants to enroll. Dr. Gitlin and Ms. Hodgson expect about 20,000 people worldwide to do so, reflecting the concern internationally over Alzheimer’s.”
