Mosaic’s Annual Charity Fund Raiser, “A Downton Abbey Soiree” to be held at the Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto is to raise funds for Pat`s Place
For the last two years our charity fund raiser has been held under the popular “Absolutely Fabulous” banner with events held at Mosaic Home Care’s head office and at the Bayview Country Club.
This year we have decided to go back in time and feature our fund raiser under the period nom de plume “A Downton Abbey Soiree”. We at Mosaic are fans of Downton Abbey and we expect that this will be the case for many of those who would like to come and support the event.
This period piece, our charity Soirée is to be held in September at the sprawling, elegant and lovely “Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto” in Thornhill. With its own historic elegance and history, we felt that this would be the perfect venue and backdrop for the Downton Abbey Soirée.
So pull out your flapper finery and join Mosaic for a evening to remember…….there will be a Silent Auction, a prize for the best dressed flapper, appetizers, dessert table, music and give-aways.
Our guest speaker will be Andrea Hagan, a wellness consultant, who inspires people everywhere to live a healthy, vibrant and purposeful life.

Money raised will be donated to Pat’s Place run by Family Service Toronto.
I have been a member of the North York Elder Abuse Network for almost 10 years now and suggested that we raise funds from this year`s event for Pat’s Place run by Family Service Toronto.
Pat’s Place is a temporary safe haven for older people experiencing abuse. Pat’s Place offers a welcoming environment where residents can take time out from their current situation.
“At Pat’s Place we believe that all older people have the right to live a life free of harm. We are striving to create an environment where an older person can live with dignity and in peace.
What kind of accommodation is available at Pat’s Place?
Pat’s Place offers a cozy, modern bachelor apartment with the following features:
A small bedroom area with a single bed, sheets, dresser and spacious closet with sliding doors.
A cozy living room which includes a comfortable futon, dinner table and TV with cable connection. Sliding doors allow light and fresh air into the space.
Compact kitchen with utility storage space and drawers, oven with top hood/vent, microwave and refrigerator.
Full washroom with bathtub/shower.
