Upcoming Events at our Community Resource Centres
With the opening of our second office at the CNIB Centre in early September, Mosaic’s community has expanded! We are proud and excited to host events at both locations, and provide access to information for people who need it. This is the difference we make. Here’s a list of some upcoming events that Mosaic Home Care Services will be hosting over the next few months.
Held on the last Thursday of the month, this café is designed for people with early dementia/Alzheimer’s disease. People socialize and participate in games for social and mental stimulation. You can find out more about the café on the blog that was written on it.
An Afternoon with Audrey Miller
Audrey Miller from Elder Caring Inc. has partnered with Mosaic to offer a special service: Elder Caring Plus®. Being an expert in geriatric care and with a holistic approach to home care, Audrey will spend an afternoon explaining how and why Elder Caring Plus® might be right for you and your family.
In November we will have a presentation and workshop by Priya Yoga Studio. People attending the workshop will learn the benefits of yoga, and how it can help in aging gracefully. The workshop will be tailored for an aging population, and will introduce Chair Yoga and Thai message.
These are just a handful of some of the events that Mosaic hosts for the community. Every week Mosaic hosts a Knitting Group on Wednesday afternoon’s at our Steeles location. Monthly we host Foot Care Clinics at both Steeles and CNIB locations. We will be hosting more even more events in December, like the return of Music Can Heal and the Holiday & Tea event. Mosaic’s commitment to the community is the difference that we make.
