Holiday Festivities at Mosaic Resource Centre: Sock and Button Snowmen with help from Amica at Bayview

I have just arrived in Westfield (New Jersey), a refugee from the Jack Frost/Edward Scissor hand nightmare that Toronto had become on Sunday morning – as we were driving down Yonge Street we were left gasping in awe at the broken majesty of the very many fallen ice laden giants, strewn like waterfalls as if frozen in time. 

Westfield was a balmy 16 degrees Celsius and still is as I write.  But back to my apologies: I am a couple of blogs behind so I am using the winter break to catch up on some much needed community communication.

We had two main events in our community centre in December, the first was jointly hosted with the “Amica at Bayview” retirement residence on Friday December 6th, 2013. 

 

Selene and Emily from Amica brought some wonderful holiday cookies and other treats and showed our attendees how to make the wonderful sock and button snowmen.

It was a lovely afternoon at Mosaic Home Care Services & Community Resource Centre with holiday music and refreshments.
